A Prostitutes flee as fun seeker dies

T & K International Hotel, Iyana Ipaja, Lagos State, was a place where fun seekers visit to drink and satisfy their sexual desires.

But the death of a customer, popularly known as Jereke, who passed the night at the brothel on the fateful day has changed the fortune of the place.

The prostitutes and customers have deserted the place and the brothel has been shut by the police.

As the news of the sad incident filtered in the neighbourhood, scores of people have been converging on the brothel to discuss the issue.

PUNCH Metro gathered that Jereke was a commercial bus driver, plying Iyana Ipaja – Igando Road and a regular caller at the brothel.

It was gathered that on the fateful day, the driver, after the day’s work had gone to the brothel to unwind.

It was further learnt that Jereke having had some booze, reportedly slept in the brothel.

Although it could not be ascertained if he slept with any of the prostitutes that night, it was learnt that he died in the brothel.

A resident, who craved anonymity for fear that he might be identified, said neighbours were awoken by a noise from the place in the early hours of Tuesday.

He said, “When we asked what the noise was all about, we were told that a customer died in the brothel.
